How many of you use the printed yellow pages books that get delivered to our homes?  I remember having to take a book to drivers training with me so I could see over the wheel of the cars they used.  LOL  Well, that’s a good use for a book.

Now I just pull up my internet connection and type what I’m looking for.  I even have the White Pages App on my iPhone.  So to all the telephone companies out there……..Save The Paper!!

Website for First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit

Read up on the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit.  It now includes the program for those who have lived in their primary residence for 5 years and are purchasing a new home.  Click here to be directed to the website.

First Time Homebuyers Tax Credit + Existing Home Owners Tax Credit

Passed and signed off by President Obama, the country has a few more months to take advantage of tax credits offered when purchasing homes.

Who qualifies as a first time homebuyer?  Those who have not owned a home within three years.

Since the beginning of 2009 first time homebuyers have been taking advantage of the opportunity to get up to $8000 back as a tax credit.  This has now been extended.  A purchase contract must be dated by April 30,2010 and closing no later than June 30, 2010.

After Dec. 1, 2009, income limits rise to $125,000 for singles and $225,000 for married couples.  The maximum home value purchased cannot exceed $800,000.

The good news does not stop there.  Added to the bill is a tax incentive for EXISTING HOME OWNERS who have owned and used the same residence as a principal residence for any consecutive five-year period in the previous eight years.  This tax credit is up to $6500.  This is effective immediately.

So if you have been waiting for the right time to buy – I would say

THE TIME IS NOW!
